What we believe, teach and confess.

We confess and hold fast to the teachings of the Evangelical Lutheran Church
as found in the Book of Concord (Which is drawn from the Holy Scriptures).

We are a Christian congregation that conforms to the divine Word of God in doctrine and practice.
It is the will of our Lord Jesus Christ that His disciples preach the gospel to the whole world.
That Christ’s mission for His Church might be carried out according to His will, He commanded that Christians:
     Unite in Worship.
     Practice fellowship with one another.
     Witness to all men.
Help each other grow in the Word.
Serve the needs of all men in Christian love..
Administer the Office of the Keys as His Church.
     and maintain decency and order.

We are affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) as long as the confession and constitution of LCMS are in accord with the confession and constitution of this congregation as laid down in Article 2.

This congregation shall, to the best of its ability, actively support the LCMS and assist it in effecting all sound measures intended for the building up of the Kingdom of God.
Membership of this congregation shall be designated by two different terms:
     Baptized member.
     Communicant member.
About Martin Luther Chapel

All members of MLC are sinners, broken and hurting, but God has called us into His family where He forgives us and loves us in His Son, Jesus Christ, and then sends us to others.  Because of that, we are always growing, ever reaching and tirelessly proclaiming the Good News of Jesus.  There is a place here for you!  Won’t you come and experience God’s peace, joy and comfort.
